Agape finishes Dec. and Jan. progams with a friendly match verses Lokomenyebu youths.

By Rainbow Mike, Feb 24 2015 10:47AM

What a busy week of football with friendly matches outside Kotido town council! God is good, he kept us healthy and gave us the energy to conclude the Agape holiday program successfully . Our last trip in Lokomenyebu (Kotido Sub County) was quite different, the weather was so,so hot, too much wind and the football ground is located right in an open space where there was no single tree for shade. I am proud of the boys because they have done so well to work together as a team.. The boys have got good mentality. The leadership strength within the team is great! During training each youths get the chance to practice leadership, Each friendly match has got different captains and that helps to develop confident in each one. I am glad and know through Agape, we shall have good leaders for our District in a near by futures.Almost all the boys are under 18ths and are developing strong leadership character. As i said before i do not care very much about winning the game because it's the least priorities. It's good for the boys and they know they have to work together and work very hard if they are to win a match which fuels them. The local leaders also spoke to the youths and thanks Shalom (Agape) for organizing such a good activities for the youths in their village. He said the youths in their village are so IDLE and this kind of activities like sport would be a good thing for them on a daily basis. Our program resumes toward the end of April 2015 for three weeks, it will includes a discipleship camp for all of the youths under Shalom ministry as well as youths from the surrounding community at Kotido town council.

God is good, all the time! And that is his nature... Waahooooooo...
