Shalom has always had the vision to create more financial support locally for the ministry, whether it is local grants from the government, the churches, or running a business to bring in funds. Shalom has investigated multiple options for their viability and income generating potential and settled on poultry farming, which will require them to purchase land, chicks, and equipment/infrastructure for raising 100 birds and selling their eggs at market. A business like this gives youth an opportunity to learn how to work, run a business, and earn an income.
