The recent searing temperatures in Karamoja have everyone thinking about whether the region will suffer the 8th consecutive year of drught. Rainbow Mike recently said that though they had some good rains for a week or so, the sky has refused to give rain and the crops that people have planted are withering. Though the crops of sorghum and maize could survive, their yields will also be affected by the heat.
